Campus Crusade for Christ International (now also known as Cru) was founded by Bill and Vonette Bright in 1951 at the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA). God led them to see the strategic value of college students to help fulfill the Great Commission.  Today more than 25,000 coordinators serve with this ministry around the world. Currently the president of Campus Crusade for Christ International is Steve Douglas and the global offices are located in Orlando, Florida, USA.
